New Patient Information

Esthetic and Reconstructive Dentistry is primarily an adult restorative practice located at 98 Silver Street in Waterville, Maine. Currently, we are accepting some new patients and we invite you to contact us if you are interested in becoming part of our practice. Our driving goal is to offer the highest quality dentistry to our patients, while maintaining a friendly and warm environment for all.

Becoming a New Patient:

To join our dental practice a patient is first scheduled for what is called an Office Orientation. This appointment is designed to answer any questions that you might have about our practice and team. While there, Donna will give you a tour of our facility, explain our philosophy, and discuss the services and treatment that we provide.

After this initial visit, if you feel that our team is right for you, we will schedule a New Patient Exam. At that time Dr. Wietecha or Dr. Laliberte will comprehensively assess each persons oral health. This involves Oral Cancer screening, TMD analysis, Periodontal Charting, and recording of dental conditions. Additional tools may be necessary and could involve the taking a full series of X-rays and/or panographic films, impressions for study models, and a bite relationship. By studying the findings at this appointment the doctors have been able to diagnose problems more completely as well as determine necessary preventative measures.

The final stage of becoming a new patient is a Review of Findings with the doctor. There he will speak with each patient about any existing conditions that they might have as well as alternatives for treatment, taking both financial aspects and urgency into consideration. We will seek to reach a balance each patient is comfortable with and to create goals that establish health and stability for each individual.

The process in becoming a new patient has been an excellent tool for our practice by creating an understanding relationship with our patients as well as helping each individual to receive the optimum care that they deserve. We hope that you find this as helpful as we do and we look forward to meeting you!
