Patient Concerns

Treatment Cost

Many patients that are looking to have significant work done are often concerned with the overall cost of the treatment. We are more than happy to print you a copy of a treatment plan that will explain the procedures that will be done as well as total estimated cost. With regards to financing see the section above in the Frequent Questions section: How can I finance my treatment?

Will there be any pain involved?

Many patients have had negative experiences with previous dental work. At our office we aim to make you as comfortable as possible and will work to make it a pain free experience. Nerves are not always uniform and a moment of discomfort during treatment is possible. If you do experience this please raise your hand and we will be sure to stop and re-anesthetize the area for your comfort.

How will the final result look?

Every patient seen in the office is treated differently and the final appearances will vary accordingly. We will work with you to find the most aesthetic result possible. When having crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures made there will always be a temporary stage. The appearance will be matched as closely to the final result as possible so that you may have a chance to make any suggestions for change. Whenever possible the temporary color or shade is taken into account as well as the overall shape.

Fear of needles

The idea of needles is a frightening thought for many people. For the past few years we have been using a new automated device for delivering local anesthesia called the Wand. We have found that it is very popular among patients and some have even asked after it is implemented, "Was that the needle?" Before that is used a topical anesthetic is applied to help remove the sensation of the needle itself. We hope that this new device can help to reduce any anxiety.
