Esthetic & Reconstructive Dentistry (ERD) would like to take this opportunity to update our patients about the practice. More importantly, we would like to say "Thank You" to our patients who keep their appointments and truly appreciate the care we provide to them!

New patients becoming established with the practice go through a very comprehensive exam that includes photos. These photos provide a reference of existing conditions prior to treatment. They are also taken in cases which involve major reconstruction and/or whitening. Results are then compared with before and after pictures.

We would like to remind each patient who needs to take antibiotics or other medication before dental appointments that this is a very crucial precaution. It is important for us to have this information to ensure your health throughout and after your dental appointment. You may need to contact your physician to assist us in helping you. A written order for our records may be faxed to 873-0697.

Blood pressure monitoring is critical for some of you. It is taken on patients that are having surgery or are scheduled for long appointments requiring a large amount of local anesthetic. Please feel free to ask our clinical staff if you would like to have yours checked.

Professionally applied fluoride treatments, for children as well as adults at high risk, are recommended for the prevention of tooth decay. A prescription strength fluoride may also be suggested for at home use. The doctor or hygienist will, when appropriate, discuss your risk factors.

As some of you are aware, Dr. Laliberte, along with other staff members, has been involved in humanitarian efforts in Honduras through Cape Cares. This organization recruits teams from many offices to travel and donate dental care to people in remote mountain areas of the country. This experience is educational as well as humbling to everyone involved.
